Museum and Attraction Passes Available at the South Portland Public Library
Now Available at the Library
The South Portland Public Library is pleased to announce the availability of several passes to places of interest in the area.
Generously provided by the Friends of the South Portland Public Library, these passes entitle library users to free or reduced-cost admission to several locations of interest for the entire family!
Passes may be reserved by calling or visiting the Circulation Desk at the Main Library.
The following passes are currently available to South Portland Public Library card holders...
Located in Gray, the Maine Wildlife Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife and is a wonderful location for a family picnic!
The pass entitles the user for a reduced price admission to the park of just $1.50 per person (Ages 4 and under are free) for up to seven people.
About an hour drive from South Portland, in Newfield, Maine, is the 19th Century Willowbrook Village. 19th century living surrounds you as you tour historic homes, a reproduction schoolhouse, ride on an authentic turn of the century carousel and tour exhibits of many vehicles and trades. Enjoy lunch on site, or bring a picnic!
The Library's pass entitles the user to free admission for up to two adults and two students.
Located in the Arts District of downtown Portland
Membership pass entitles the bearer to free admission to the musuem for no more than two adults and up to six children, one use per day.
Located on Munjoy Hill in Portland, the Portland Observatory is the oldest known historic maritime signal tower in the United States. The tower offers breathtaking views of the City of Portland (and South Portland, across the harbor!).
The library has two passes, good for free admission for one person each.
Located in the Arts District of downtown Portland, the Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine features a wide variety of interactive exhibits and activities for children and families.
The library's pass entitles the bearer to 50% off the admission price for up to four people.
